Jacks Trump™ is the newest mobile card game to hit the market since the invention of the Internet.  This new game app can be played on iPhone, iPad or Android devices.

General Description of the Card Game: Two or more players each are dealt 3,5 or7 cards from the computer deck depending on the number of players. No more than 45 cards can be dealt in any one hand. The dealer selects the number of cards at the beginning of the hand and plays first by playing one of his cards after pressing either the “HIGH” or “LOW” button. For purposes of play Aces are high and Duces are low. When a player declares either HIGH or LOW the Ace or Duce becomes the dominate card and all other cards fall in place behind them as follows:

HIGH: Aces, Kings, Queens, Tens, Nines, etc… until the Duces.

LOW: Duces, Threes, Fours, Five, etc… until the Aces.

A “Play” is when a player plays one card in a clockwise manner starting with the initial Dealer or the winner of the Play. Each other than plays one card.

A “Hand” is when all Players play one card each during the Play.

A “Round” is comprised of a several Hands and ends after all the cards are played by each Player at the table.

A “Game” is comprised of a several Rounds equal to the number of Players at the table after each Player has dealt one hand or as predetermined at the start of the game.

How HIGH and LOW works. When the lead player declares “LOW” Duces “trump” all other cards except Jacks. If any succeeding Player plays a corresponding “trump” card like a Duce on a Duce when the lead player declares “LOW” the last lowest “trump” card wins the Play, unless a Jack is played. If a Jack is played, the last Jack played wins the Hand. If the lead player declares “HIGH” before he/she plays the first card, the reverse is true, and Aces become the highest “trump” card, except when one or more Jacks are played.

Jacks are the controlling “trump” cards and always wins, with the last Jack played taking the Hand.

The Hand continues with each winning player declaring either “HIGH” or “LOW” before he/she plays the next card after winning the prior Play.

Once all the cards in the Hand are played the Round ends. At the end of the Round each player’s score is counted and the points and Chips are deposited with the Player based on the Hands won in the Round.

Scoring: Aces and all face cards are worth 5 points; Tens are worth 10 points; and all numbered cards are worth 1 point each.

Play continues with each player dealing a Hand in clockwise order until all Players have dealt cards once. Once this happens the game is ended or alternatively after the selected number of Rounds are played as determined before the Game begins.

At the end of the Game each Player’s points and Chips are added up his/her accumulated points and Chips are awarded to the Player.

Before the first card is played there is an ante and betting round where a preset ante is put into the ante pot and the Players each have the option to bet (fold, call, or raise). The first Player at the start of the Game has the option to “check” or “raise” by betting one time. If the Player checks the next Player to his/her left will start the bidding or check. This continues for two betting rounds or if all Players check the game ends in a draw. The winner of the Round wins the bet pot, or if there’s a “points” tie the pot is split, otherwise the Player with the highest score for each Round wins the pot.
